Ben Merrill

A product of The Boston Advantage system, he is a centre currently playing at St. Sebastian’s and tenth Cape cod Whalers. He is almost 6’ 4” with an impressive jump in his skating stride with the co-ordination already somewhat in sync. Displays a hard shot and a willingness to compete for pucks and move his feet. Attended a tryout camp with Chicago Steel over the summer, and did well enough to be offered a spot on the team, but chose to return to Boston, after playing two games for the Steel. Tthe odds are on him joining the USHL at some point next season or down the road, but he has chosen to play with the BCHL’s Penticton Vees during 2024-25, and then the California native will be on his way to Harvard.
