The unicorn of the 2024 draft class is a giant defenseman who doesn’t look at all uncomfortable on his blades or in his movements, hits, and ability to mount offensive flurries using his hands and speed. Hasn’t developed a nasty streak, but his ordinary checks and body leans are certainly noticeable. He is only starting to scratch the surface of a his potential as a future NHLer. The chance to draft a kid who can be Chara-like will be be on the minds of nHL scouting staffs.
