An off-handed dangler in the Patrick Kane style, he is puck-handler magnifique. Before you start rallying him higher in the first round, it might be a safer bet avoiding this left shooting right wing who you are really not sure progresses in the team ranks as a creator on offense, or shakes off concerns that he may not still more of a juniorA player, one whose outstanding hockey IQ, lateral quickness, high-end hands, solving of defenses, and the feel of knowing when to move the puck are more instinctive than a complete knowledge-understanding of the North American game. Sure this is a developmental project whose early selection might payoff in money player. He is a smart player who can fit into a structure. Scout’s eyes opened when he was promoted to the MHL, and his hockey strengths were more evident. His skill level, motor, dangles border on dynamic, catches defenses snoozing. And he naturally wants the puck on his stick and he can be a creative set-up man, or shooter. The high end plays that evoke roars come from his well timed stickhandling allow him to get his passes off so the hesitation adds time for a recipient. He find soft spots in the defensive coverage in the offensive zone. From transition to the neutral zone, he will give n go, get it back and get in the entry to the attack zone. His stick and skating moves are abundant, so he’s looking to create advantages off of all touches. Reads situations and works with teammates and supports well. He will come wrap around, stays in his (passing) lanes, and lands his passes on his line mate’s sticks. Is quick reacting to unexpected puck luck. Maybe his eagerness on the attacks cause snuff-out of his tries while getting in far too close to have many options. Another strength already a part of his game are his diagnosing skills on defense. He is on the power play. When he’s coming at you and he sizes you your skates and body position, he keep coming, across their backsides. With piazz & daring, Alex Zharovssky will need more patience and development to transition to the way the higher levels play, especially when he no longer has the luxury of the long over handing inside the present day NHL’s quick-touch attack. I am not sure which 2025 prospect matches creativity we see in his high offensive skill. He comes with a highlight reel.
