Yurov is a tall rangy Russian winger with a long reach, excellent stick handling ability while at top gear. soft hands, and a wide skating base that allows him to not get knocked off the puck. He's terrific speed draws penalties and he consistently is able to cut into the blue paint around defenders with great body lean and control. He has a goal scorers vision, creativity and scoring touch. If pucks go to the point in the attack zone, he quickly set up screens n front of the net. Will then set up down low, and one touch passes to his teammates in the slot. His good balance allows him to be very strong along the boards. He is a two way defensively aware players and if one of his de-men pinches, he makes sure he fills on the backline if transition happens. The Russian-Ukrainian war complicates where exactly he will be selected. Originally I had him as a top three player in this draft.
