It's Tua Time: The Miami Dolphins Will Start Tua Tagovailoa in Week 8
It's Tua Time. Well, almost.
The Dolphins will name No. 5 overall pick Tua Tagovailoa the starting quarterback following the team's Week 7 bye, according to ESPN. The former Alabama star will make his first start against the Los Angeles Rams.

In the team's blowout victory of the New York Jets, Tagovailoa made his NFL debut in relief of Ryan Fitzpatrick. The lefty completed both of his passes for nine yards.
After his debut, Tagovailoa went back onto the field to celebrate the moment.

It's a disappointing end to the Fitzmagic Era in Miami. In the current campaign, the bearded gunslinger completed 70% of his passes for 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Interesting timing to switch to Tua, but my best guess is the Dolphins want to find out what they have in Tua because that 2021 Texans 1st-round pick could get very interesting if it ends up inside of the top 5.

It's a risky move for a team that is currently 3-3 and one of the surprise teams in the NFL.
