Shaquil Barrett Returning to Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers said they'd run it back with largely the same team, and they weren't lying.
After franchise tagging Chris Godwin and re-signing Tom Brady and Lavonte David, the Bucs were expected to lose pass rusher Shaquil Barrett to a team trying to pilfer the Super Bowl champions, but that's not happening.
Barrett is returning to Tampa Bay on a four-year deal worth up to $72 million, per ESPN. The extension includes $36 million guaranteed.

Barrett has been one of the best free-agent signings in recent memory. In two seasons with the Bucs, the Pro Bowler tallied 27.5 sacks — including leading the NFL in sacks in 2019 with 19.5
