Paul Blart: Mall Cop star Kevin James will portray longtime New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton in the upcoming Netflix movie Home Team, according to NBC Sports.
The film will follow Payton coaching his son's sixth-grade football team in 2012 during his time away from the NFL because of his "Bountygate" suspension.

For those unfamiliar with the Bountygate, it was a huge scandal because members of the Saints coaching staff offered bonuses or "bounties" to encourage injuring opposing players from 2009-2011.
As a result, multiple coaches were suspended, the Saints were fined $500,000 and were forced to forfeit second-round picks in 2012 and 2013.
Payton has been the Saints head coach since 2006, making him the league's second longest tenured coach after Bill Belichick. Payton has a 152-89 career record.
Home Team is expected to film later this year.
