Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys: Best 'Monday Night Football' Prop Bets
Another must-watch week in the NFL finishes with a great Monday night division rivalry game.
Just sit back, relax, place your bets, and watch some "Monday Night Football." When you do place your bets, please do so responsibly.
FanDuel: Tony Pollard Over 32.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Is it way out of the realm of possibility that Ezekiel Elliott is not the best running back on the Cowboys? In last week's win over the Chargers, Pollard rushed for 109 yards on just 13 carries, and his snap count increased by almost 10% while Elliott's continues to drop.
With just 16 carries on the season, going with Pollard is a risky choice, but he is averaging 7.7 yards per rush. Last week's big game from Pollard gives the Cowboys options on offense. They can save Elliott's legs early in the season by not relying on him to be the do-it-all running back and they can also get a very talented runner like Pollard more touches.
Look for Pollard to be a big presence in the running game for the Cowboys the rest of the season, starting tonight.
Barstool: Ezekiel Elliott Over 16.5 Receiving Yards (-117)
While Elliott's role in the running game is diminishing, he is still a very reliable receiving back, despite securing just four catches on the campaign.
Elliott is still one of the best backs in the league when you give him open space, so watch for the Cowboys to get him involved with some screens or designed check downs, especially at home. Since 2018, Elliott has averaged five targets per game at AT&T Stadium and averages four catches per game.
With his role in the offense changing, especially because of the play of Pollard so far this season, Elliott should, and will be used more towards his strengths. Right now, his biggest strength is running between the tackles and catching the ball, and the Cowboys will take advantage.
Even though Elliott is not as great as he used to be, he can still change the game with only one touch.
DraftKings: CeeDee Lamb Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+120)
The Eagles have allowed the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL this season. But that's been against the Falcons and 49ers. Those are not two "great" passing attacks, so who is to say that this secondary is that good.
So far this season, Lamb has been targeted 24 times and hauled in 15 of them for 185 yards and a touchdown. With how talented he is, why wouldn't Dak Prescott trust him? This game will be a reality check for the Eagles' secondary, and Lamb should feast all night.
Bovada: Best Spread: Cowboys -3.5
The Cowboys are simply the more talented team in tonight's tilt. Dallas is second in yards per game (435 yards) and the top team at converting third-downs (56%). They are the most efficient offense in football, and they should really be a 2-0 team.
The Eagles have a strong defensive line, but they'll miss Brandon Graham after he suffered a torn Achilles. Philadelphia will need to find a pass rush if they want to pull off the upset. They should make this a competitive game, but the Cowboys' offense will be too much to handle.
