Philadelphia Eagles Fire Head Coach Doug Pederson

The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking for a new coach this offseason.

On Monday, the Eagles fired coach Doug Pederson.

The Super Bowl-winning coach was thought to be safe heading into the offseason, but there were rumors over the weekend that Pederson could be let go.

Ultimately, Pederson was reportedly tired of people bossing him around, which is deeply relatable.

The Eagles finished the 2020 campaign with a disappointing 4-11-1 record. Philadelphia owns the No. 6 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft

Pederson, who has been the Eagles coach since 2016, leaves the franchise with a 42-37-1 record and a Lombardi Trophy. But Pederson might not be out of a job long.

ESPN reports that Pederson could be a candidate for the head coaching job with the Jets
