Patriots Sign TE Jonnu Smith to 4-Year, $50M Deal
The Patriots knew they needed to add some offensive weapons this offseason and when the legal tampering period opened Monday, New England didn't waste any time.
The Patriots inked former Titans tight end Jonnu Smith to a four-year, $50 million contract that includes more than $31 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.

Smith, 25, is one of the most dynamic tight ends in the league as he can impact a game in the passing and running game.
In his contract year in 2020, Smith had a career-high 41 receptions, 448 yards receiving and eight touchdown catches.
He'll join Cam Newton and the Patriots in an offense starving for talent.
