After 11 seasons with the Patriots, Julian Edelman is hanging up the cleats.
The Super Bowl LIII MVP announced the news on Twitter on Monday.
Prior to the announcement, the Patriots terminated the wide receiver's contract due to a failed physical, according to NFL Media.
Edelman, a three-time Super Bowl champ, leaves behind an incredible legacy in New England as the Patriots' signature wide receiver over the last decade.
