Lions Fire Coach Matt Patricia, GM Bob Quinn
The Lions have cleaned house.
The franchise announced Saturday that they have fired coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn following Detroit's Thanksgiving day blowout loss to the Houston Texans.

The Lions are now the third team who will be searching for a coach in the offseason, joining the Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons.
Patricia was one of our five coaches on the hot seat.
Patricia finished with a 13-29-1 record since being hired by Quinn in 2018. Patricia replaced Jim Caldwell, who was 36-28 in his tenure, after back-to-back 9-7 seasons.
Clearly, massive changes are coming to Detroit. And the biggest question — outside of who the Lions will hire to be coach and general manager — will be about the future of Matthew Stafford in the Motor City.
