Saleh is expected to make 49ers passing game coordinator Mike LaFleur his offensive coordinator.
Saleh joins the Jets after spending the last four seasons as the 49ers defensive coordinator, helping to build a Super Bowl-worthy defense in 2019.
The Jets job was our third most-attractive opening this offseason.
Despite going 2-14, the Jets finished with the second-worst record in the NFL behind the Jaguars. Gase was fired before the end of the season.
