New York Jets Finally Fire Adam Gase
The J-E-T-S are looking for a C-O-A-C-H.
Following New York's 2-14 season, the Jets have finally fired head coach Adam Gase after two seasons with the franchise, according to NFL Media.

Gase was hired to help develop No. 3 overall pick Sam Darnold, who has failed to live up to the hype, while others in his class — like Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson — have excelled.
In his first season with the Jets, Gase led the team to a 7-9 record but it all fell apart in his second season with the team, winning just two games and earning the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Adam Gase in five years as a Head coach:

• his teams have been outscored by 544 total points
• his teams have trailed after the first quarter by 210 total points
• 35 of his 48 career losses have come by double digits
• 27 of his 32 career wins have come by one score
The Jets will be on the search for a new coach, and they have some pretty big decisions to make, like will they pick Justin Fields or Zach Wilson with the second selection or decide to build around Darnold.
It'll be a fascinating offseason for Gang Green, but they have plenty of cap space and two first-round picks. And now they don't have Gase holding them back.
