Jacksonville Jaguars vs Cincinnati Bengals: 3 Best 'Thursday Night Football' Prop Bets

Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars will travel to Cincinnati to take on Joe Burrow and the Bengals to kick off Week 4 of the NFL season on "Thursday Night Football."

Let's be honest here, this matchup screams mediocrity, but there are still some bets to be made. As always, I will give you the three best props of the night, as well as the best point spread. Sit back, relax, enjoy the game, and always remember to gamble responsibly.

FanDuel: Trevor Lawrence OVER 22.5 Pass Completions (-105)

The Bengals are allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 68% of their passes for an average of 30 completions per game. While Lawrence's rookie year has been less than desirable, he has shown flashes of excellence.

The Jaguars are averaging 39.3 pass attempts per game and they are towards the bottom in running plays called. With the Jaguars being a pass-heavy offense under Urban Meyer, and the fact that they will probably be trailing in this game and will be forced to pass, Lawrence should comfortably hit the over here.

Barstool: James Robinson OVER 23.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

As I just mentioned, the Jaguars are a pass-first offense, and James Robinson has actually played a big role through the air. Through three games, Lawrence has targeted Robinson 15 times which has resulted in 12 catches for 92 yards.

The biggest key here is the Bengals' pass defense. They allowed Najee Harris to record 14 catches on 19 targets last week. While Pittsburgh's offense is a bit different than Jacksonville's, expect Lawrence to take what the defense gives him, especially late in the game when they will be looking to pass their way back in it.

With Robinson getting around 65% of the Jaguars' running back snaps, he will play a big role in the passing game.

DraftKings: Ja'Marr Chase To Score First Touchdown (+700)

All of our chips are in the middle. The Burrow to Ja'Marr Chase combination at LSU that demolished college football is looking good in Cincinnati so far.

Chase scored two touchdowns on four catches last week against the Steelers and has a team-high four touchdowns on the season. The Bengals are facing a pass defense that is allowing 74% of passes to be completed, nine yards per catch, and 302 passing yards per game. Burrow should feast on the Jaguars' awful defense, and without Tee Higgins, Chase will be the main beneficiary.

First touchdown scorer props are always a massive gamble, but with how well Burrow and Chase have looked, and with +700 odds, this is a perfect prop to throw half a unit on.

If you are interested, Chase's anytime scorer prop is set at +100.

Bovada: Best Spread: Bengals -7.5 (-110)

To be honest, I am not in love with this spread on either side. Buying half a point might be the play here, but gun to my head, I have to pick one, I am taking the Bengals. From top to bottom, they are just the better team. I love their offense, the offensive line has been impressive while the front seven has been dominant against the run.

Give me the Bengals strictly because of the talent advantage. The Jaguars are on the right track as a team, but they have a long way to go. The best way the Jaguars cover is if Lawrence has a career day and that Jaguars defense steps up. I have yet to see either of those things so far this season.
