Georgia's Travon Walker Is Betting Favorite To Go No. 1 In 2022 NFL Draft
Welcome to draft week!
As we inch closer to the 2022 NFL Draft, there's a new betting favorite to be selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the first overall pick: Georgia's Travon Walker.
And it's not just at one major sportsbook, either.

Travon Walker is now the favorite at most books.
DraftKings: -150
FanDuel: -150
Barstool: -159
PointsBet: -125
MGM: -160
Before Walker emerged as the betting favorite, it was widely believed that the Jags were targeting Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson with the No. 1 pick. However, there has been a steady drumbeat that Walker is who Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke really wants.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Hutchinson (+140) has dropped to the second shortest odds to be elected first overall while Ikem Ekwonu (+750), Evan Neal (+1600) and Kayvon Thibodeaux (+2000) round out the top five. But if you trust the betting odds, it really feels like a two-man race between Walker and Hutchinson.
In our 7-round mock draft, we are in alignment with the betting markets and have the Jaguars adding the athletic Georgia pass rusher with the first pick.
Will the Jags shock the NFL and select Walker? We'll find out Thursday.
