Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers: 3 Best 'Monday Night Football' Prop Bets

After the Sunday night thriller between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens, we need more football. Luckily for us, it's Monday, and it is time for some "Monday Night Football."

The best part about "MNF" is placing some bets on the game. We've found the three best prop bets and our favorite spread from the popular sportsbooks. Will the Packers rebound tonight or will the Lions pull off the upset?

FanDuel: D'Andre Swift OVER 75.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards (-113)

In the Lions' loss to the 49ers, D'Andre Swift proved to be the Lions' primary option on offense. He caught 8-of-11 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown while adding 39 rushing.

While Jamaal Williams outgained him on the ground, Swift got the majority of the snaps for the Lions at running back. He is such a threat to score from anywhere in both the run, and passing game, that this one should be pretty easy.

With Tyrell Williams out due to a concussion, Swift will be the Lions' primary playmaker, which should equal plenty of touches.

DraftKings: Aaron Rodgers OVER 284.5 Passing Yards (-110)

The Lions have one of the worst secondaries in the league and it showed in their first game. Jimmy Garoppolo diced up the Lions' defense for 314 passing yards on just 17 completions. Despite Aaron Rodgers' shoddy showing last week, the reigning NFL MVP should fare better than Jimmy G.

Any Aaron Rodgers prop will be popular tonight due to how poor he and the Packers played against the Saints. Rodgers completed just 56% of his passes for 133 yards and two interceptions.

There's almost no chance that Rodgers replicates that performance. Rodgers should have a big bounce-back performance against Detroit.

Barstool: T.J. Hockenson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+185)

The Lions' offense showed signs of life in garbage time against the 49ers last week. Other than Swift, T.J. Hockenson is the Lions' best player in the passing game, and he should get a ton of targets — especially if the Lions trail by a lot.

Hockenson was targeted 10 times against the Niners, turning that into eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. He could be even better this week against a worse defense.

The Packers pass defense was able to hold Jameis Winston and the Saints to just 151-yards passing, however, they allowed five touchdown passes, two of which went to tight end, Juwan Johnson. If the Lions are able to get the ball into the red zone tonight, Hockenson will probably be the Lions' main target since they are without a true, reliable receiver.

Hockenson is worth the wager at +185.

Bovada: Best Spread: Lions +11.5

It is a very rare occasion for me to take a double-digit spread in the NFL. While the Packers have won the last four matchups against the Lions, they are 1-3 ATS in those games. They are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 matchups and 1-7 in the last eight matchups. The Packers have always been the better team, but it is clear that the Lions are a covering machine against the Packers.

The Packers will win this game with a motivated Rodgers, but the Lions will keep this one close for three quarters.
