Denver Broncos vs Cleveland Browns: 3 Best 'Thursday Night Football' Prop Bets

Week 7 of the NFL season kicks off tonight as the Denver Broncos will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns on "Thursday Night Football." Both teams are dealing with injuries and a short week so do not expect this game to be the most exciting game you have ever watched.

However, it is still football, and for me, it is still my Cleveland Browns. As always, we will be giving out the three best props of the night through three of the major sportsbooks in the country and our best overall bet of the night. Just make sure that if you do decide to gamble tonight, you do so responsibly.

FanDuel: Case Keenum OVER 219.5 Passing Yards (-110)

The Browns are an absolute wildcard tonight. For the most part, we have no idea what the game plan will be. Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt are all ruled out tonight and with half the offensive line and Odell Beckham Jr listed as questionable, the Browns will be really shorthanded in this game.

Case Keenum has not started a game since 2019 and he has only attempted 13 passes in his career in Cleveland. The good news for Keenum, and those taking the over on his passing yards prop, is that Keenum achieved his greatest season in the NFL with Kevin Stefanski as his quarterbacks' coach in Minnesota. With Stefanski now the head coach in Cleveland, there is probably a mutual agreement to let him spin it tonight, especially with Hunt and Chubb out for this game.

In Stefanski and Keenum's lone season with the Vikings, Keenum passed for 236.5 yards per game and averaged 7.4 yards per attempt. Look For the Browns to keep things simple in the passing game with a lot of short routes, screens, and the occasional deep shot.

Barstool: Teddy Bridgewater UNDER 31.5 Pass Attempts (-121)

Teddy Bridgewater has only gone under this number twice this season but he is coming into this game incredibly banged-up. He suffered a concussion in Week 4 and he's now dealing with a foot and quad injury, which threatens his availability for tonight.

He is going to give it a go and with his injury and the injuries on the Browns, I expect the Broncos to play very conservatively tonight. The Broncos running game should see more action tonight, especially considering the that Browns front seven is also banged up. This does not mean I will be taking any running back props tonight as Melvin Gordon is still playing through a hip problem and Javonte Williams cannot find a consistent stream of touches this season.

Still, the Broncos will probably try and keep this one on the ground and force the Browns' offense to win the game for Cleveland. Based on the talent advantage that Denver has tonight, that is a safe bet to make, and so is this Bridgewater prop.

DraftKings: Noah Fant Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+230)

Noah Fant has caught a touchdown in two out of his last three games and his snap count and targets are on an upwards trend. Not only that, but the Browns are one of the worst defenses in the league against tight ends. On the season, the Browns have given up 33 receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns. Cleveland does do a good job at keeping them out of the endzone, but very often, the Browns allow tight ends to float open.

The Broncos' game plan is going to be to run the ball and mix in some play-action passes. When you have two banged-up teams on short rest, that is usually the way these games go.

With Fant's increased snap count and the Browns being extremely weak at linebacker this season, Fant at +230 to score is a quality play.

Bovada: Best Bet: UNDER 40.5

My official advice is to stay away from the spread, moneyline, or total tonight. There is just no way to tell what is going to happen. The Browns are missing the majority of their offensive production and the Broncos are wildly inconsistent.

The Browns have been on a little bit of an over run lately, but obviously, tonight is different. With the Browns' injury concerns, and the fact that the Broncos have only hit the over twice this season and four out of their last six games have gone under, the smart play tonight is to go with the under.
