Browns Sign Jadeveon Clowney to 1-Year, $10M Contract

Jadeveon Clowney has finally found a new home.

Clowney, 28, signed a one-year deal worth up to $10 million with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday, per ESPN.

Since being drafted first overall in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, Clowney has had an up-and-down career, with the Browns being his fourth team in as many seasons.

The Browns now have three former No. 1 picks on their roster in Clowney, Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett

While Clowney hasn't blossomed into an NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate like many thought he would be, he's carved out a role as a well-rounded pass rusher. Since entering the league, Clowney has recorded an 89.5 PFF grade, which ranks 14th among all edge rushers in that timeframe.

Clowney has 32 sacks, 186 tackles and nine forced fumbles in his career.
