Carson Wentz, Doug Pederson Reportedly Didn't Talk To Each Other For 'Weeks'

Now that Carson Wentz has been shipped out of Philadelphia, reports of the Eagles' dysfunction are starting to pop up.

The latest report comes from ESPN's Adam Schefter via 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia on Friday.

Apparently, former Eagles coach Doug Pederson and Wentz didn't speak to each other for "weeks on end" after the QB was benched. Schefter added that he believed they didn't speak for up to "10 weeks"

That's a staggering amount of time, especially when the relationship between coach and QB is one of the most important in any organization.

Much of Wentz's reported consternation with Pederson stemmed from the Eagles' decision to draft Jalen Hurts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. By Week 13, Hurts had replaced Wentz as Philadelphia's starting quarterback.

With Wentz joining the Colts, the former coach-QB duo likely won't have to talk for a long time.
