The eight-time Pro Bowler will reportedly part ways with the franchise that drafted him fifth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Per source, the Arizona Cardinals and former All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson are parting ways barring a significant change in stances.— Matt Verderame (@MattVerderame) February 8, 2021
Peterson, 30, has enjoyed eight Pro Bowl and three First-Team All-Pro campaigns since being selected No. 5 overall in the 2011 Draft.
There have been rumors for years that Peterson and the organization were heading toward a divorce, but it appears it's finally happening.
Turning 31 in July, Peterson will be one of the more sought after free agents on the market even though he had a rough 2020 campaign.
In 10 seasons with the Cards, Peterson intercepted 28 passes.
