49ers Reportedly Offered Massive Deal to Packers for Aaron Rodgers
The pervading thought ever since the 49ers traded up to No. 3 was that San Francisco was going to take Mac Jones. Then it was Justin Fields, then Trey Lance. It all sounds like the Niners are great at keeping a secret or have no idea what they're going to do in their pursuit of a franchise quarterback.
It turns out it might be the latter.
The 49ers apparently offered the Packers Jimmy Garoppolo, the No. 3 pick and more for the reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers, according to Minnesota Vikings play-by-play announcer Paul Allen.
