Miller attended Westlake High School, where he quickly became a standout player, earning All-State honors in his senior year. His performance on the field caught the attention of several college scouts, leading him to commit to play for the University of Texas, a decision that marked the beginning of his NCAAF journey.

During his collegiate career, Miller has achieved several milestones. In his sophomore year, he led the team in tackles with 85, ranking him among the top linebackers in the conference. He was named to the All-Conference First Team, reflecting his impact on the field. Additionally, his performance in the 2022 season earned him a nomination for the Butkus Award, further solidifying his reputation as one of the top defensive players in NCAAF.
