Corrigan's Gambling Corner: Super Tuesday 4 Best Bets: +1142 Parlay Payout - Feb. 1, 2022

Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with some best bets for another wonderful night on the hardwood.

It is Super Tuesday, so that means we have a lot of great matchups. College basketball is starting to take over as football season is winding down, and with these matchups not only for tonight but in the coming weeks, we are in for some excellent games.

Before we know it, we are all going to be filling out our March Madness brackets, so now is the time to start getting familiar with these teams.

We would love you to tail our picks, but we would especially love you to make a lot of money. As a sign of courtesy, we included the parlay odds for all three of our picks. We just ask that you always remember to gamble responsibly.

Here are tonight's winners.

North Carolina Tar Heels at Louisville Cardinals

Louisville fired head coach Chris Mack last week, and leading scorer and rebounder Malik Williams has been suspended indefinitely. I get that they are at home, and North Carolina has not been very good on the road this season, but only being a 3.5-point underdog is a little surprising.

The Cardinals are only 11-10 on the season, and they are one of the worst teams to bet on with a 6-13-2 record ATS this season. Louisville is also 1-7 ATS in their last eight, 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, and 2-5 ATS in their last seven against the Tar Heels. North Carolina has their own problems as they are 2-4 ATS on the road this season and 4-13 in their last 17 road games.

Although the Tar Heels are not great on the road, Lousiville has waaaaaaaaay too many problems right now. it seems like there is a real disconnect between the players and the program, and with their leading scorer out, I don't know how the 228th-ranked scoring offense is going to generate enough firepower to take down the Heels tonight.

Pick: North Carolina -3.5 (-110)

Alabama Crimson Tide at Auburn Tigers

Alabama is 14-7 this season, but they have played to the level of their competition in practically every game. Now, that goes both ways as they have had some bad losses this year. Even then, they are still one of the most explosive offenses in the country this season.

On the other side, Auburn has been the surprise of the season, and their 17-game winning streak has catapulted them to the No. 1 ranking in the country. During their winning streak, they are 14-3 ATS with an average spread of 9.8 points. They are not just beating teams, they are throttling teams.

Auburn is 10-1 ATS at home this season and Alabama has only covered once in their five road games. I like Alabama a lot, mostly because of their ability to score in bunches. However, so can Auburn, and Auburn has one of the better defenses in the country.

Alabama is a really good team, but until I see Auburn lose, they are an automatic bet every time.

Pick: Auburn -6.5 (-114)

Bowling Green Falcons at Central Michigan Chippewas

There may not be two hotter teams when it comes to taking the over. Both Bowling Green and Central Michigan have struggled to come up with some wins as BG is 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 and Central Michigan is 2-8 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games. However, the over has gone over in all 10 games for both teams.

On the season, the total has gone over in 16 of 19 games for Bowling Green, and the over has cashed in seven of eight road games. Central Michigan is only 8-8 against the total this year, and the Chippewas are ranked 306th in scoring. The good news is, although Bowling green has an excellent offense, their defense is about as terrible as you can get.

The Falcons' defense is 351st in scoring, 279th in effective field goal percentage, and 259th in opponents shooting percentage. The most important stat to note is that Bowling Green is allowing teams to make 9.3 three-pointers per game and opposing teams are shooting 35.2% from deep. The Chippewas' only strength comes with their three-point shooting percentage, which is ranked 45th in the country.

At the end of the day, Bowling Green is awesome at offense and terrible on defense. Central Michigan is terrible at both. We are rolling with a Bowling Green cover and the over. I think Bowling Green is just going to steamroll a team that has only played twice since Jan. 11.

Pick: Over 157.5 (-114) & Bowling Green -7.5 (-118)
