Corrigan's Gambling Corner: 3 College Basketball Best Bets: +595 Parlay Odds - March 7, 2022

Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with some best bets for another wonderful night on the college hoops.

The regular season is officially over, and it is time for some conference tournament action. While some conferences have already started their end-of-season tournament, the quality of these games is going to significantly improve over the course of this week. March Madness is on the horizon, but for now, we are going to do what we always do, and give out some winners before the best postseason in all of sports.

We would love you to tail our picks, but we would especially love you to make a lot of money. As a sign of courtesy, we included the parlay odds for all three of our picks. We just ask that you always remember to gamble responsibly.

Here are tonight's plays.

Wright State Raiders vs Cleveland State Vikings

Neither Wright State nor Cleveland State has been that great to bet on this season, but the Vikings have won 14 of their last 20 games, and they are 5-1 ATS in their last six against Wright State, including a 2-0 ATS record against the Raiders this season.

Cleveland State has not played in four days, and when they have at least four days of rest, they are 6-3 ATS, with an average spread of -2.9. The Vikings are also 3-0 ATS this season when they come in as the most rested team.

While Wright State has won 11 of the last 15 against Cleveland State, the Vikings are 32-8 when playing as the favorite under head coach Dennis Gates, and they have a conference winning percentage of 65.6%.

With such a small spread, I like Cleveland State as the outright winner, and if you can find them as an underdog, I implore you to jump all over it.

Pick: Cleveland State +1 (-110)

Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns at Georgia State Panthers

Georgia State comes into this game as the hotter team. The Panthers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine, and in their seven covers, they are winning by an average of 9.14 points per game. The Ragin' Cajuns are 2-1 ATS at a neutral site, but they are 13-14-1 ATS this season and only 3-7 ATS in their last 10.

Louisiana-Lafayette does have a good defense, as they are ranked 44th in effective field goal percentage, 60th in shooting percentage, and 78th in shooting efficiency, however, Georgia State has the best defense in the conference. The Panthers are only giving up 67.1 points per game on the season, and they only allow 23.3 made field goals per game.

Georgia State is also 2-0 this season against the Ragin' Cajuns with an average margin of victory of 5.5 points per game. Both teams are solid on offense, and great on defense, but Georgia State forces 15.8 turnovers per game, which is ranked 19th in the country.

Pick: Georgia State -3.5 (-110)

San Francisco Dons vs Gonzaga Bulldogs

At this point, Gonzaga has separated themselves as the best team in the country, even if they don't win their conference.

The Bulldogs are ranked first in scoring (88.3), average scoring margin (23.3), rebounds per game (42.3), shooting percentage (52.4%), and made field goals per game (33.1). Defensively, they are ranked first in effective field goal percentage (42.7%), shooting efficiency (0.917), and two-point shooting percentage (41.1%).

Gonzaga is only 14-12-1 ATS this season, but they have beaten San Francisco twice this season by 16 points. I do like the Dons a lot, and I really wanted to take them to cover in this game, but the Zags are just too much. They have won 19 of their last 20 WCC games, and as 14 point favorites, they are only 9-9-1 ATS, but in those 19 games, the average spread is 28.5 points, which is double the amount of points they are favored by tonight.

In their last game, Gonzaga never lead at any point during the game, but let's be honest, they did not really care about a regular-season game against Saint Mary's. Hell, even the backups didn't care.

Pick: Gonzaga -14 (-110)
