Corrigan's Gambling Corner: 3 College Basketball Best Bets: +595 Parlay Odds - March 4, 2022

Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with some best bets for another wonderful night on the college hoops.

Let's call it what it is, this is a terrible slate. We only have one ranked team playing today, and even then, I am not going to get overly excited for a Murray State game. The good news, however, is that even when the slate is pathetic, there are still some great bets available.

March Madness is on the horizon, but for now, we are going to do what we always do, and give out some winners before the best postseason in all of sports.

We would love you to tail our picks, but we would especially love you to make a lot of money. As a sign of courtesy, we included the parlay odds for all three of our picks. We just ask that you always remember to gamble responsibly.

Here are tonight's plays.

Bowling Green Falcons at Toledo Rockets

I don't think we have talked enough about how good Toledo has been this season. The Rockets are 24-6, and they have covered in 22 of their 30 games this season. Toledo has also covered in 14 of their last 17, and six of the last 10 against Bowling Green.

The total is on the high side because Bowling Green is ranked fifth in pace of play, and the Rockets come in at 78th. It is also because Bowling Green is ranked 17th in scoring (78.6), and they are putting up 64.4 shots per game, which is the seventh-highest total in the country.

On the other side, Toledo is ninth in scoring (80.2), and they are ranked 51st in effective field goal percentage, 21st in shooting percentage, and 32nd in shooting efficiency. I want to take Toledo because of how well they have treated my bank account this season, but Bowling Green is one of the top-scoring offenses in the country, and I trust this offense to keep pace, especially as the Falcons are fighting for MAC tournament seeding.

Pick: Bowling Green +16 (-110)

Buffalo Bulls at Kent State Golden Flashes

Coming into this game, both Kent State and Buffalo are two of the hottest teams in the MAC right now. Kent State is currently on an 11-game winning streak, and Buffalo has won nine of their last 10.

The Golden Flashes are 8-1-2 ATS during their 11-game winning streak, and they are putting up 77.5 points during their winning streak. On the season, Kent State is 14-11-2 ATS, and as a favorite this season, they have a SU record of 14-5.

While Buffalo has been playing well recently, they are 0-5 ATS in their last five, and they are only 12-16 ATS this season.

This game feels closer to a pick 'em to me, but I will ride with the better offense in Buffalo. They have covered in seven of their last eight against Kent State, and over their last 10 games, they are putting up 84.5 points per game.

Pick: Buffalo +3 (-110)

Loyola Marymount Lions at BYU Cougars

Throw out the record books when it comes time for the WCC conference tournament.

On paper, BYU is the better team, there is no debating that. However, BYU is 2-9 ATS in their last 11, and they are 12-16 ATS this season, and the Lions took BYU to overtime last month.

BYU is 3-7 ATS when they are favored by at least 12 points, and they are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 conference games. Loyola Marymount has only won twice in their last 12 games, and they have lost 10-straight games as an underdog.

While I do not feel comfortable with the Lions' 277th-ranked defense against a good shooting team like BYU, it is the conference tournament, and I find that riding the dog in conference tournaments is the way to go, especially if they are double-digit dogs.

Pick: Loyola Marymount +12 (-110)
