Corrigan's Gambling Corner: 3 College Basketball Best Bets: +580 Parlay Odds - March 2, 2022

Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with some best bets for another wonderful night on the college hoops.

Some conference tournaments have already started, and for most teams, there is only one more game left in the regular season. There have been some terrific games this week as teams are playing hard to try and improve their tournament seeding.

We would love you to tail our picks, but we would especially love you to make a lot of money. As a sign of courtesy, we included the parlay odds for all three of our picks. We just ask that you always remember to gamble responsibly.

Here are tonight's plays.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Florida State Seminoles

I feel like not a lot of people are talking about how good Notre Dame has been this season. They have won seven of their last eight including wins over Miami and Syracuse. Notre Dame is also 4-1 ATS in their last five, and on the road, they have covered in seven of 11 games.

The Irish have also covered in five straight road games and are 7-1 ATS in their last eight against Florida State. Freshman Blake Wesley has been tremendous for Notre Dame, and he is playing some really good basketball lately. Over his last seven games, Wesley is putting up 16.6 points, 1.7 steals, and 4.0 rebounds per game on 46.5% shooting from the field.

Looking at Florida State, there is not a lot to cheer for right now. They are 2-8 in their last 10 games, and they have only covered once in that same stretch. While losing key players Malik Osburne and Caleb Mills have fully derailed this season, Florida State is just not a good team this year. While they are coming off a big win against Virginia in their last game, I like the value the Irish have today.

Notre Dame is only allowing 66.4 points per game, and teams have a tough time shooting on the Irish, with a 43.4% shooting percentage. Unless someone on Florida State steps up, which no one really has this season, Notre Dame should win big in this game.

Pick: Notre Dame -2.5 (-110)

Auburn Tigers at Mississippi State Bulldogs

Auburn kind of stinks right now, but I still love them in this spot.

The Tigers have only covered once in their last seven, and losses to Tennessee, Florida, and Arkansas last month showed us that maybe their massive winning streak earlier in the season was a fluke? I do not know about yall, but three road losses to legitimate tournament teams is not a cause for concern.

It also helps that Mississippi State does not have a great offense. While they are ranked 59th in shooting percentage, they are also ranked 162nd in effective field goal percentage, 121st in shooting efficiency, and 322nd in three-point shooting percentage. The Dawgs run through their defense, which only allows 66.2 points per game, but Auburn is solid on both sides of the court.

They are scoring 79.1 points per game, and while they are not an overly effective offense, they are ranked 21st in made field goals per game. Auburn also only allows 66.9 points per game, and teams are only shooting 38.2% against the Tigers.

Pick: Auburn -3.5 (-120)

LSU Tigers at Arkansas Razorbacks

Betting against an Arkansas team that is 9-0-1 ATS in their last 10 might be foolish, but consider me Boo Boo The Fool because that is exactly what I am doing.

Although LSU has lost two of their last three, they are 4-2 ATS in their last six, and they are 18-11 ATS this season. They are also fully healthy now with Xavier Prinson back in the lineup, and the defense is only allowing 66.6 points per game over their last five.

LSU has struggled on the road, only winning once in their last seven road games, but I like the value that the Tigers are getting. The offense is not that great, but they are ranked 16th in average scoring margin, and the defense only allows teams to shoot 38.2% from the field and 27.9% from deep.

Arkansas will probably end up winning this game, but I like LSU's elite defense to cause some problems and keep this game close.

Pick: LSU +5.5 (-106)
