Corrigan's Gambling Corner: 3 College Basketball Best Bets: +584 Parlay Odds - Feb. 15, 2022
Welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with some best bets for another wonderful night on the college hoops.
With football season officially over, we are shifting our focus to the hardwood. We are now officially under a month away until selection Sunday. I know we are all sad that football is over, but before we know it, we will be pretending to be sick so we can stay home all day and gamble on the tournament. Until then, let's tune up our gambling strategies for college basketball.
We would love you to tail our picks, but we would especially love you to make a lot of money. As a sign of courtesy, we included the parlay odds for all three of our picks. We just ask that you always remember to gamble responsibly.
Here are tonight's winners.

Michigan State Spartans at Penn State Nittany Lions
Michigan State snapped their two-game losing streak against Indiana on Saturday while Penn State has lost six of their last seven, and they are only 4-9 in Big Ten play. Both teams are average ATS this season, but the Spartans are 5-2 ATS on the road, and Penn State is only 6-5 ATS at home.
I do not necessarily know why Penn State is only getting three points, but I intend to take full advantage. Penn State is 8-3 ATS in their last 11, but in those last 11 games, they were only the favorite once, and the average spread sits at +6.
Michigan State moved AJ Hoggard into the starting lineup during their last game against Indiana, and it immediately paid off. He will once again be on the floor to start the game, and although Penn State has solid guard play, I am rolling with the better team.
Pick: Michigan State -3 (-114)
Texas Longhorns at Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma has played some good basketball lately, but they have lost two of their last three. Their lone win came against a really good Texas Tech team, while their two losses came against Oklahoma State, and then a two-point loss to Kansas.
As a whole, the Sooners are not an impressive team. While they are ranked 33rd in opponents' points per game, they do not shoot well, and teams are shooting 42.9% from the field against Oklahoma. On the other side, Texas is not a great shooting team either, but their defense is ranked second in scoring, third in field goals made per game, and 13th in three-pointers made per game.
Texas is only 3-6 ATS in their last nine, and they are only 2-6 ATS on the road this season, but they have covered in six of their last seven at Oklahoma.
The Sooners are known for going on scoring droughts because of their subpar offense. Going up against one of the top defenses in the country was already going to be a tall task, but with their known offensive struggles, Texas can squeeze the life out of their rivals. Sure, their offense is not impressive, but we are betting on Texas' defense to hold it down and for the offense to do just enough.
Pick: Texas -1 (-110)
Minnesota Golden Gophers at Ohio State Buckeyes
Minnesota snapped their five-game losing streak on Saturday with a win over Penn State, but that does not change the fact that the Gophers are in a free fall. After starting the season 10-1, Minnesota has lost nine of their last 11 with their two wins against a bad Penn State team, and a Rutgers team that had not broken out yet.
The Gophers are 4-1 ATS in their last five against the Buckeyes, but their last loss ATS over Ohio State came this season. The Buckeyes are facing their own problems as they lost a couple of games they shouldn't have against Rutgers and Purdue, but they are 5-1 ATS in their last six.
Neither team is necessarily great on offense, but that is especially true for Minnesota. The Gophers are ranked 215th in scoring, 107th in effective field goal percentage, and 119th in shooting efficiency.
Originally, I loved Minnesota tonight, but they are 0-7 ATS coming off a cover, and they are losing those games by an average of 9.5 points. At home, Ohio State is 6-4 ATS, and they will pick up another win ATS against a really bad Minnesota team.
Pick: Ohio State -12.5 (-110)
