Warriors Acquire Kelly Oubre Jr. from the Thunder
The Warriors didn't waste any time finding their potential Klay Thompson replacement.
The Dubs are on the verge of acquiring Kelly Oubre Jr. from the Oklahoma City Thunder for a protected 2021 first-round pick, according to ESPN.
The Warriors will absorb Oubre Jr., and his $14.4M salary into their $17.2M trade exception once deal is done. https://t.co/GcLaIlnwNF

Golden State, of course, needed some help on the wing after Thompson suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will miss the 2020-21 NBA campaign.

The addition of Kelly Oubre would see it increase to $134M
$14.4M of Oubre + $68M in taxes= $82.4M
This is the second time that Oubre Jr. has been dealt this month. He was also part of the Chris Paul trade that landed the Point God in Phoenix with the Suns.
Oubre, who averaged 18.7 points with the Suns last season, is in the final year of a two-year, $30 million contract. He'll make $14.38 million this season.
