Jimmy Butler 'Studied' Mark Wahlberg's Acting to Sell Late-Game Flop

Jimmy Butler might have found his post-NBA career.

In the final minute of the Heat's 98-96 win over the Knicks on Monday, Butler submitted an Oscar-worthy performance.

Following his missed shot, Julius Randle fouled Andre Iguodala and then ran into Butler, who put on a masterclass performance to sell the foul.

Following the game, Butler told reported that he "studied Mark Wahlberg and how he acts so incredibly well."

Butler has been friends with the star actor since they met in 2013 when Wahlberg was filming a movie in Chicago.

Despite the incredible performance, there's no word yet if Butler has landed a starring role in The Miami Job, the sequel to The Italian Job.
