Hawks Deal Rajon Rondo to Clippers for Lou Williams

Rajon Rondo is going back to Los Angeles.

Prior to the NBA Trade Deadline, the Hawks traded the four-time NBA All-Star to the Los Angeles Clippers for Lou Williams and two future second-round picks, according to ESPN.

The Clippers needed to find another ball-handler and playmaker and they have found one in Playoff Rondo.

In 27 games with the Hawks this season, Rondo averaged 3.9 points and 3.5 assists.

This will be Williams' second stop in Atlanta, after playing for the Hawks from 2012 to 2014. He's been a stellar scoring presence off the bench, but he's been exposed in the playoffs for his lack of defense. He's averaging just over 12 points per game on the campaign.
