Strengths: Vonleh’s measurements are ideal for the NBA with a 11.75” hand width and 37” maximum vertical, enhancing an already impressive physical profile. He’s a great rebounder, as he led the rugged BIG 10 with 9 RPG as 18-year old freshman. He has great agility, touch around the hoop, and finishes with both hands. Vonleh has a great motor running the floor and is a willing screen setter with a strong lower body. He’s got a mechanically sound perimeter touch, and his 48.5% 3-point field goal percentage, make him especially attractive to stretch the floor in pick-and-pop situations.
Weaknesses: Post repertoire needs to be refined. Offensive assertiveness. He needs to improve his defensive awareness, perimeter defense, and positioning, essentially playing without fouling.
