Bradley Beal Fires Back at Kent Bazemore: 'You a Straight LAME'
Bradley Beal was clearly unhappy after Kent Bazemore joked about the Wizard guard's recent hamstring injury Monday.
During a Monday shootaround, Bazemore weighed in on the heated battle between his teammate Stephen Curry and Beal for the NBA's scoring title.
"Forty-nine points in 29 minutes, though, that's unreal," Bazemore said when referring to Curry's scoring explosion against the Thunder on Sunday. "Then we got guys hurting hamstrings, trying to keep up. So, y'all gotta do some research on that."
On the same night Curry went off, Beal also erupted for 50 points, but injured his hamstring in the second half, forcing him to sit out of overtime. Curry is currently averaging 31.9 points, while Beal is at 31.4.
Once Beal, who is very active on Twitter, found out about Bazemore's comments, it was an all-out war. In a Twitter rant, Beal pushed back on Bazemore, calling him "a straight LAME" and referring to his antics as "goofy s***."
@24Bazemore you don’t know me or shit about me bruh!!! You don’t know why I go out there and play and it damn sure ain’t for another man’s approval!!! You a straight LAME!!! But it don’t surprise me coming from you, thats what’s yo type do!!

Beal's wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, also got in on the fun while backing her husband.
I’ll just leave this right here...

As Beal was waxing poetic on Twitter, Bazemore was busy scoring 19 points in a win over the Jazz.
Following the tilt, Bazemore stayed loyal to Curry when asked about the situation.
"I guess you can't joke anymore," Bazemore said. "I don't say things to ruffle feathers, but ... if you want to know what my loyalty is, it's to [Curry]."
Ultimately, it looks like Bazemore isn't sweating the kerfuffle too much:
Bazemore said he's not too worried about the Bradley Beal dust-up. Said he's gonna go home, love up his wife, watch Peaky Blinders and go to bed.

Bazemore might need to apologize one day, though, especially if the Warriors decide to make a play for Beal in the offseason.
