Corrigan's Gambling Corner: 3 Best NBA Player Props: +516 Parlay Odds - March 1, 2022

Hello, and welcome back to the gambling corner. We are back with our three favorite NBA player props of the night.

We have a six-game slate tonight, but there are probably only two games that I actually would want to watch from an entertainment standpoint. The good news, however, is that betting on a bad matchup is the same as betting on a good matchup.

Admittedly, I have been on a cold streak with my daily player props, but after last night's big gambling night for me (no big deal), my confidence level is at an all-time high. I love the player props for tonight, and I cannot wait for you all to go undefeated with me in the NBA tonight.

We would love for you to tail our picks. If you do so, please always remember to gamble responsibly.

Los Angeles Clippers at Houston Rockets

Christian Wood Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds (-102)

Although the Rockets are in the middle of a nine-game losing streak, Wood has continued to be a bright spot for a bad Rockets team. He has played in eight of the nine games during the losing streak, and he is putting up 16.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.

In his two games against the Clippers this season, he is averaging only 14 points and seven rebounds per game, but the Clippers allow the fourth-highest amount of points per game against opposing centers.

On the season, Wood is averaging 17.6 points, and 10.1 rebounds per game, and Los Angeles is ranked 23rd in total rebounds allowed per game, 24th in defensive rebounds allowed per game, and dead last in offensive rebounds allowed per game.

Atlanta Hawks at Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum Over 2.5 Threes (-166)

The value on this prop is not great, but this is the perfect bet to add to a player prop parlay in order to boost the odds a little bit.

Tatum is only shooting 32.9% from three this season, which is down from his career average, but over his last six games, he is averaging nine three-point attempts per game, and he is hitting 3.3 of those shots per game. He has gone over this total 27 times this season, and on the season, he is averaging 8.7 three-point attempts per game, which is a career-high.

When looking at three-point props, the most important factor is not how many they make per game, but how many shots are they putting up. Tatum is a good enough shooter to where I feel confident he will hit at least three shots if he takes double-digit attempts. In fact, there have only been three games this season where he attempted 10+ threes and did not make at least three of them.

Teams are shooting 36% from deep against the Hawks, which is the sixth-highest mark in the league, and the Hawks' defense is also ranked 24th in effective field goal percentage, 23rd in shooting percentage, and 25th in shooting efficiency.

Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles lakers

LeBron James Over 28.5 Points Scored (-106)

Lost in the Lakers' terrible season is how good LeBron James has been. He is currently averaging 29 points per game, which would be his highest season average since his last season with his first run in Cleveland.

While he is only averaging 28.3 points per game over his last seven games, he is shooting 50.6% from the field, and he has hit this number four times over his last seven. LeBron has gone over this total 27 times in his 43 games this season, and while Dallas has one of the best defenses in the NBA, they do allow teams to shoot 45.5% from the field.

With Anthony Davis out for at least one more month, and with Russell Westbrook being really bad at basketball in the year 2022, the Lakers are going to live and die with LeBron for the rest of the season, and with how well he has been playing this season, I expect him to once again rack up the points as he tries to single-handedly keep the Lakers in playoff contention.
