A- A A+

The total for this game is posted at 207.

The Nuggets have a 1-0 series lead after their Game 1 win over the Warriors. They only won by 2 points and needed a late bucket from backup Andre Millwer, who had 28 points in the game, to preserve the win.

The Warriors only lost by 2 points in Game 1, but they suffered a big blow with the loss of PF David Lee, who averaged over 18 ppg and 11 rpg this season. He is done for the season with a hip flexor injury and that puts even more pressure on the 2 backcourt scorers of Klay Thomson and Stephen Curry, who really struggled in Game 1.

In the first game in this best of 7 series the Nuggets beat the Warriors 97-95.

The Nuggets were the better betting team on the season at 49-33-1 ATS with an Over/Under record of 46-36-1 and the Warriors are at 43-39-1 ATS with an Over/Under record of 47-35-1.

The Warriors covered the spread in Game 1, but they now are not only without Lee, but they are up against a Denver team that had the league's best home record this season. The Nuggets only lost 3 home games all season while the Warriors are 3 games under .500 on the road.

Carl Landry, Draymond Green, and Richard Jefferson will have to take up the slack for the loss of Lee at the FW position and it is important they hit the glass in this game.

Curry was only 7/20 from the field in Game 1 while Klay led all Golden State scorers with 22 points. These guys will have to knock down their open shots and also play solid D facing the PG duo of Ty Lawson and Andre Miller.

Warriors' Andrew Bogut played well in Game 1 with 9 points and 14 boards, but he may have a tougher time tonight since Kenneth Faried will be back on the court tonight after missing the first game in this series with an ankle injury.
The Nuggets were ice cold from beyond the 3-point arc in Game 1 and they need to get out and run on the break if that happens again.

Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets Betting Trends

The Warriors have covered the spread in their last 4 games and in their last 7 games the posted total has gone Under 5 times.

The Nuggets are only 1-5 ATS in their last 5 games and in their last 5 games the posted total has gone Over 4 times.

The Nuggets are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games facing the Warriors.

Bus Man's Pick: Under .500 on the road and no Lee spells a win for the Nuggets, but the Warriors will still give Denver a good game and they will cover the 8-point spread.
